Meaning of Lanatullahi Alayhi

Lanatulahi alayh means "May the curse of Allah be on him." This should not be said except regarding someone who deserves it. Salam LA means lanatullah alayhi meaning Allah's curse be upon them.

Cursing and abusing anyone has no basis in Islam. The Shia divide the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) into three factions. The first are those who believed in Allah and His Messenger and remained steadfast in their faith. The second are those who believed in Allah and His Messenger but later turned away from Islam. The third are those who never believed in Allah or His Messenger.
