Unfiltered Wait Staff Speak Their Minds
Imagine a world where waiters and waitresses could tell you exactly what they were thinking. No more fake smiles or polite small talk. Just honest, unfiltered opinions.
Well, that world exists—at least on YouTube.
In a video for Netflix filmed to promote her upcoming spy-comedy The Union, the Oscar-winning actress and her co-star Mark Wahlberg listed some of the injuries they've sustained while filming action scenes.
But if you really want to see the truth, this BuzzFeed video will show you a world where waiters and waitresses tell you everything they are thinking.
The comedy revolves around the character of Hallie, who works as a waitress at a busy restaurant. She's tired of the fake smiles and polite small talk, and she's not afraid to let her customers know it.
In the video, Hallie tells customers that they're being rude, that they're not tipping enough, and that she's tired of serving them.
It's a pretty elaborate facade, and if waiters were honest more regularly like they are in this BuzzFeed video (i.e., if they'd still be promised jobs after speaking their minds), it would certainly make for a more interesting dining experience.
